No, you do not need a license for the motor boats that we rent.
Of course, everyone who rents a motorboat will get an explanation about the ship in question and the available equipment.
As the main operartor of the motorboat, it is important that you are at least 18 years old. We also ask for renting motor yacht Florida - the largest yacht in our fleet - some sailing experience.
On the motor boats of De Hoek Watersport there is room for two to eight people.
For example, you can rent a motorboat for a two-person vacation, but also a motor yacht to enjoy a nice time on the water with your family, a group of friends or the whole family.
For children, it is also a special experience to take a boat to the water for a sailing holiday.
We advise to have children on board always wear a life jacket, even if they already have a swimming certificate. This way the whole family can enjoy a wonderful sailing holiday without worry.
Yes, dogs and other pets are welcome on board at De Hoek Watersport to go on a sailing holiday, if you have a prior consultation with us.
Dogs and other animals are not allowed to enter the sleeping cabins alone.

Our motorboat Zwaluw, with on board space for 2 to 6 people, for example, you rent from 550 euros per week. Motorboat Florida, the largest yacht in the fleet of De Hoek Watersport, with seats for 6 to 8 people, you rent from 995 euros per week.

We advise you to apply for a fishing pass in time for your fishing trip. You can request this via your computer. For the small fishing pass click on "apply for a small fishing pass" for the further fishing passes. There are several passes that we refer to the site of the fishing angler.
If you only want to fish for a short period, for example because you enjoy a well-deserved holiday with us, you can purchase a weekly permit. This week permit, which offers you the same possibilities as the VISpas, you can buy at the VVVs and the angling shops in Fryslân.
From 2019 you can buy a weekly fishing pass from DeHoek Watersport. You can then fish right at your arrival and do not need to apply for the license as described above. Please reserve the fishing license in good time.
